starlight32
Just been looking at entry fees for the Suffolk show, they make the Norfolk show an even better deal than I thought; Entry is £16, and car parking £5. Not surprising that all you owd Saarfuk boys drive around in new tractors! I was there but it all got a bit dicey as I had to keep tabs on my woman as the clothing stalls were just all to much for my visa card to bear.......... Starlight32- 1 shooting seat Mrs Starlight- wax jacket, boots, rain jacket, rain trousers and a right daft water feature for the garden. In future game fairs I shall feign that I am working the weekend and attend incognito.... Thats is between me and pigeonwatch members right? That sounds pricey, I got off lightly, £100 for a Deer-hunter jacket, I had no intention of buying another stalking jacket, but this one is a belter. There was another ton spent on odds and ends, but 'er indoors was not looking, so they dont count.

PW and real name one and the same. You must have been at that cider they were selling. What sort of gun you looking for then Taggy? Air rifle I presume as your going to Rayleigh. PCP or Springer? If you go for PCP, I know a chap selling an air cylinder for £25, which would be cheaper than £130 for a new one. SS
bob300w
"Taggy; my list of 'to try`s' is getting bigger by the day." If you are up in the civilised part of Essex at any time, let me know, I'm sure that your list of 'to try's' can be reduced considerably, at least with anything gun related that is. taggy
sorry i have been away for a while, so not been checking in as often. did buy a gun after all. £250 for a 2nd hand ( not too old) BSA lightning .22. i needed to get all new gear, and the chap in the shop threw in ; bag, oil, pellets, scope and cloth...i didn`t think that was too bad. please don`t tell me diferent. since then found a better deal on the same gun . typical. just been to the range and sighted it in. still pulls a little to the left. got my first live shoot on 16th. think i`ve done everything possible to a rabbit apart from killing it. lets see if i have the stomach for it!
