chrispti
Hi mate , I have the biakal .410 hushpower, its very quiet when using the subsonic 3'' and the 2.5'' carts, but IMO I think they are useless, 2.5'' dont have enough shot and the subs dont have enough power. To that end the standard 3'' carts are the order of the day, they are a bit louder but only just! Between 25 and 30 yards is about the limit for range, Iv been roost shooting, pigeon shooting over deeks and rabbit shooting with it, all of which were with success!!! All in all a cracking good, fun, little gun. chris
tosspot
i have the Pedretti one and recently have shot the Baikal on the Pedretti the firing pin is a bit suspect as it is long apparently mine has broke once but i do over a thousand shells a year through it the Baikal is the usual Russian fare and i doubt would wear out even if you tried real hard, but it is longer and the balance is upset a bit don't expect miracles on the noise front, acoustics play a part and if you put fast shells through em, like Fiocchi or Bornaghi you will still get a crack Eley fourlong or 3" Subs i have found to be the Quietest overal if mine terminally broke tomorrow i'd be straight in for a new one poss the Mossberg pump if i was flushed

chrispti
Eley are the only subs available around here, they come in shot size 6, and thats all, thats why I have come to the conclusion they are ****.
auto culto
definitely go for it mate. They are the mutts nuts and you wont be disappointed. I have the pedreti and can honestly say its the only gun from my 6 that i would never sell. It really is that good. It fits me like a glove and is such a versatile tool its uncanny. As someone said the firing pins do break as mine has done but i ordered 2 and the bill was less than a £10 for them both. It took me all off 2mins to change and i now have a spare. They also have a lifetime guarantee on the moderator and the saddlery and gun room replace all the baffles in mine free of charge, bearing in mind mine was one of the early production models and had the naff baffles fitted. I really dont have a bad word to say about the gun and saddlery and gun room really are top peeps.
vole
I use the Pedretti 12g Hushpower. Service I agree is top notch. They acknowledge the gun can have its problems but for me to have 12 bore clout in the places I shoot without upsetting anyone is irreplaceable. I think even if noise was not an issue I would still use one for pest control. Why not try a 12g?
