Teal
Here's the bag i shot today after a couple of hours shooting. Birds seemed very shy, found after someone had shot them the day before. Not many about, I think at this time of year they are always spoilt for choice anyway. Total bag 7 so not a record by any means but a good few hours in the fresh air. Teal
Hi, it's nothing exotic I'm afraid, it's a gunmark kestrel 20bore , the stock is just a varnish, I know because i managed to scatch a bit off it the other day :yp:

pigeon master
Teal, I think your making a good selection of gun if you go for the silver pigeon, as you have guessed already, I have one and its a joy to shoot. Nice slim gun, well made and I'm sure it will be in my cabinet when I'm 75. This is a picture of the Silver Pigeon 28" game top, and the deluxe ultra light bottom which is 12B.Beretta's gun. lurcherboy
One pigeon is good enough Teal if you had a day out in the open enjoying the sights, sounds and smell. LB
pigeon master
Your dead right there LB, if the weather is good then just sitting there watching the world go by is enough for me some days. I was shooting the other day and ended up watching a paiir of kestrels more than what was flying across the field. Happy days The PM
Teal
Too right, I saw a pair of muntjac in the corner of the field unfased by my shooting. Also saw a couple of brown hare lopping accross the field, a kestrel and many many red kites. Huge flock of sky larks (i think) as well.
