MM
very grim, the whole thing. dont get me wrong, i know about hard living, but only you can drag yourself out of it. they are happy to "wallow" in that life. get a bit pee'd off when they started rattling on about the MaCanns, as they have more money ect........ im sure the police treat them just the same, but some are more greatfull (and humble) than others. had to laugh at the part when asked about what the article in the papers said about them... what a reply..." i aint too good with reading"
Bagsy
Quite interesting this. The McCanns came under huge amounts of criticism from some quarters because they are middle class, now we have the Matthews being criticised for being working class Different circumstances but we all react to the way we see people. bob300w
Quite interesting this. The McCanns came under huge amounts of criticism from some quarters because they are middle class, now we have the Matthews being criticised for being working class Different circumstances but we all react to the way we see people. "Different circumstances but we all react to the way we see people." A more correct version of this statement would be "we all react to people because of the way that the media portrays them". As in the McCann case, if they are accused of causing the death of their daughter, what chance will they have of a fair trial? The majority of people already have an opinion on their guilt, yet we only know them as the media has portrayed them. It is very easy to only show photographs of people when they are looking annoyed etc. and this relects in our opinion of them. In fact even a photograph of the McCanns smiling would probably have a negative headline "Having fun whilst Madeline is still missing". I don't intend this post to reopen the McCann debate, nor to defend them, my view is that they are guilty of child neglect, as an absolute minimum.
