Got there the wind was blowing a right gale stood talking to Paul Hart the pigeon shooter on one side of the arena and watched a tent on the other side blow away...:lol:

Anyway got a new shooting jacket and jumper from Paul very good price......

To top it all he was giving away FREE DVD's of him pigeon shooting and the decoying gear he supplies,

i have just watched it since i got home and can tell you he is a **** shot :lol::no:

He did tell me that he had missed a few but tried to say he was just shooting the high birds :P

Paul thanks for the good deal on the jacket etc hope the weather is better for you the rest of the show..

PS and thanks for the FREE DVD had a good laugh at your shooting ..... :yp: :hmm:;)

PS your shooting can only get better... ;):P

Hey Mike, good to meet you. Woke up with at least 4"snow this morning - if it got any colder last night we would have had to put the tent up & break out the sleeping bags  :good::lol: PM me your email address & I will send you some pics

mark i am one of the few poeple that can fish there the keeper doest let any body fish it ecept for me :good:

Things must have changed a lot. I moved from Selby over 23 years ago and was at one time, the Secretary of the Carlton Fishing Club. The lake contained a good head of mainly Tench, 100lb bags common early on in season, Rudd, Roach, Perch and Pike, No carp though. If your one of the few to fish it, your a lucky bloke.
