A friend of mine had a litter some years ago, that had three kits with lower jaw fangs.

They were fine to begin with, but as they got a bit bigger, the fangs seem to trouble them.

He took them to the Vet, who suggested they be removed,as they would eventually prevent the feret from completely closing its mouth.

He paid to have them removed and afterwards moaned for months that he could have bought a lot more than 3 kits with the money it cost him.

 

The Vet also suggested that it can happen if the jill is fed to rich a diet, when she is pregnant.

I know that too much liver, melts or milk can cause serious bone deformities in kits.

 

Hopefully, yours will not continue to grow. :lol:
