HeadShotHoncho
I like the look of HFT and think it would be a good idea for some practice that is as close as possible to live shooting (apart from the fact that the quarry don't move) I only own a HW80 and a B3-f (HW80 obvious choice) and am wondering how badly i'll get the **** taken out of me for using a springer. Many thanks, HSH

nicholiath
There are different classes within HFT one being springer, so no shame there, however myself and daughter shot HFT for a while but it is now very hard to get booked into cometitions due to high numbers of people entering. roger 62
Think there's some confusion in some of the answers. There is UKAHFT who run a national series of HFT comps (9 rounds plus a pre-season and a 'gathering') these are very popular and do often get booked up ahead of time. Many clubs run HFT comps as well - clubs affiliated to UKAHFT will run comps to UKAHFT format unless they state otherwise, other clubs may run comps to UKAHFT format or may run them to their own weird sets of rules. HSH not sure where you are but the UKAHFT site may help you find a club http://www.ukahft.org.uk/2008/ HTH
