Cushat
Simple question - how? Are compressed and then removed or do they "twist" out? Is there a special tool involved? Cheers
garyb
They twist out.. Just watch for the spring - I find an old rag helps
Harnser
When springs are involved try an old pistol shooters trick and disasemble in side a plastic bag . Harnser .
beretta
just push the ejector in untill you see the cutout line up with the lug. turn it and it pops out. but watch the spring? :(

Poacher
Damn fast replies chaps!! Many thanks! :( the spring will be even quicker, make sure you don't catch it with your face
M4X
My removed itself, whilst I was cleaning the gun, I must have pushed an extractor in as I sent the Jag down, only problem was I was doing it in a shooting grounds car park, fortunatly I found all the bits!!! My advice for reassembly is do it several times without the spring to make sure you have the technique off to a fine art, and then when you do try it with the spring, do it in a plastic bag (large see-through food bag) just in case that spring makes a fast escape.
