clanchief
Although I use 4 of Deako's poles for my hide and I just got a 5th delivered this week same good quality and service as last time so thanks to him for that. I was in my local tackile shop pondering the tackle of the coarse fishermen and all the different gear they have compared to the game angler when I came across Banksticks, though they have been mentioned before on here these ones are made by Ron Thompson, greeny/brown in colour made of extruded aluminium and are extendable from 48" to 96 " and pointed on one end and threaded on the other for the small plastic rod rest fitment, they have the same positive locking collar as my own poles and they cost only £ 4.99 each so I made of with 5 of the **** and now have a spare set off poles that can go with my dessert cammo net. clanchief

Axel
Has anyone had trouble with Pinewood Poles? I splashed out on a set but they've been a bit of a dissapointment, ie they keep working loose (forcing me to take a screwdriver when in the field) and the paint is peeling off after only about 10 outings! Bit of a waste of money really. Does anyone know if the ones with locking collars are any better? Cheers, Axel
remytherussell
All mine are bent now, stick them into the ground and when the wind blows they bend over. Now wont retract completely. ****.....RTR
