barrie0
Anyone used Saga catridges (not saga as in old people) They are from spain and a local shop near to me has them in at £50 for 500 felt wad 7.5 for clays. Also has loads in 5+6+7's 32 grams sporting. Just don't fancy buying a load of duff cart's . And what is your opinion on realtree dot palm gloves (good or bad) . Cheers :yp:
webber
I shot some Saga cartridges several years ago, and dont remember any bad points. The 32gm 6s felt at £100 per 1000 seems like a steal price. Ive had a few pairs of the dot palm gloves and not experienced any problems, other than the camo print doesnt last too long in the wash. It is advisable to wear gloves, you would be amazed at just how much hands and faces stand out. webber
barrie0
Thanks webber , Looks like a trip to the shop then , it's only a small fishing tackle shop with an elderley chap who owns it and cash only no cards ,but these are some of the places where you find good deals . I fancy the dot palms as I would presume you get that bit of extra grip . Thanks Barrie
webber
Barrie Why dont you spill the beans and allow other pigeon watch members in your area take advantage of the sensible price. webber

barrie0
Why dont you spill the beans and allow other pigeon watch members in your area take advantage of the sensible price. £50 was for the 7.5 28gm clay loads so I presume the other sport carts are around the same price but the addy is Gloucester rod+gun room 67 alvin st 01452 410444 As far as I have seen there is only 4 of us from Glos on here but if anyone from Glos wants some I can pick some up for them no problems edit (as long as they have licence of course). :yp:

TX Sniper
i use them for just about everything. The 30g and 32g 6's are fine for game and vermin, they do a nice clay range and some chunkier cartriges for the crows. They pattern well in my beretta 686s and kill well and are fairly clean + their cheap like the budgie.
