gunboot
Did you sign it onto his licence? and did you notify the police within 7 days? if not and he's not notified his constabulary it may not come to light until his renewal and if he's sold it on it will get even more complicate. Are there any shoots out that way you could contact maybe it will jog someones memory. Hope you find out matey Sid
2shots
My mates just had to hand a little cooey 410 in to durham fo cos the barrel was less than 24 inches making it a firearm, although hes had it for years on his shotty a new fo checked the barrels at his inspection, too short no problem though they just took the gun. bob300w
Surely all of the details of the gun are on your SGC, either from when you bought the gun, or when you renewed your SGC? Also, as gunboot says, your HQ will have all of the details from when you notified them of the sale.
njc110381
The details will be on your SGC. If they've been removed because you have a new one since the sale then to remove them your FEO should have had the paperwork for it anyway. Depending on which way it is, it's either an easy fix or not your problem IMO! What exactly has happened? You've sold the gun so why are they coming to you?
