had kits today

well after waiting for ages ferty 1 had 9 kits today there about 40 mins old ! is that alot for her first litter ?

 

i had to move 1 from outside the box back in and she was happy with that !

 

anything special i should feed her ! she had had an egg and has her usual dry kibble and will get her usual meat tonight

Be very careful with eggs at this time, provide as much meat as possible and ensure there is plenty of water too. If you have to rely on dry food make sure there is plenty available at all times.

 

9 is a good average number, best of luck trying to keep them all fed though :good:

ok thanks well i just had a better look at shes had 10 . im glad she is well handled she seemed to sort of want to show me what she had .

 

she has dry all the time , with meat in the evening

no ten ant to manny for first 1 time a jill of mine had 15 in her first.i would not give her egg she need alot of protein now or she cud die. dont go near the kits for a week or to if you want to check them wen you feed her open up the nest box and dont TOUCH!

well mine was all order the day i sexed them so i no wot i had i can never have any probs them going i dont even need to put adverts up its same people or people thay no lol.any1 after any silver mitts i will have some soon enough before thay all gone all the best lads.
