Bigbob Posted May 12, 2008 Report Share Posted May 12, 2008 I went out yesterday to check the zero on my rimmy with some targets in all i fired about 200 bullets at paper targets .What i want to know is after zeroing would you clean your rimefire when you get home ?? If you do is that libel to move the zero a tad ? Clean the action, especially if it's an auto, don't clean the bore, more 22 bores have been worn or damaged by cleaning than by shooting. The wax from the bullets prevents rust. And if you do clean the bore, yes, it will probably change the zero untill you have fired a few shots.
