smallest centerfire moderator

Hi All,

What is the smallest (shortest, lightest) centerfire moderator on the market? I'm making plans for my ackley hornet and I want to pick the mod first before I order the barrel so that it can be cut while it is made. It will be for a hornet sized cartridge, so it doesn't need much, if any, suppresion. It looks like the ASE's are the shortest, and aluminum looks to be the lightest. I'm also looking at the exit holes sizes as I want one as small as I can find.

If the moderator was the same size and weight as my SAK rimfire moderator I'd be happy.

Thanks

Rick

The ASE CQB is the lightest and the most effective CF mod that I have used on either my .223 or .243, easily beating the T4/8 and DM80. It is made of steel, just like the T4/8, so it will rust if not oiled from time to time.

A-TEC compact modular, better than the ASE, much better! :hmm:

Lighter, cheaper and quieter.

Well, it's certainly cheaper...

You're talking about the new Compact Modular version? I don't know anything about that one. Is it a reflex design, and how much does it weigh? Are there any details on the web?
