chrissy_1984
Hi folks, Im Chris, im 24 and i live in Rugby, Warwickshire. I just got my shot gun cert this year and after about 10 years of baggin bunnies with my air rifle i am slowly gettin bits n bobs of decoying gear together. Ive spent a small fortune but its worth every penny!! I love roaming about or hiding up with my gun after pigeons. The vast majority (bar a couple acres of woodland) of my permission is Oilseed rape which was getting hammered about 4/5 weeks ago and held some quality shooting over decoys. Only trouble is now all the rape's so high its impossible to shoot over. I was just wondering, bein my first proper "season" and all, what do you guys do in between this stage of crop and harvest? Its so frustrating not being able to head off to the fields as often as we were and if i continue shooting the rate of clay pigeons i am of late then i sense a remortgage coming on.... Thanks for reading and i look forward to hearing your advice! Regards, Chris

scout
Hi mate welcome to PW. I always switch to the bunnies to keep me busy when the crops are wrong to shot over.
