My 360 acre permission wasnt on their computer, so he had to walk it with me during my FAC application. Its now on thier system and cleared for all bore size (Happy Days !!). SPARKIE Posted May 23, 2008 Report Share Posted May 23, 2008 i had the same problem they wouldnt give me centrefire on my first application i had to have a .22wmr for shooting the foxes on a lot of the land i shootthey gave me .22lrbolt .17hmr fac air and .22wmr on my first application .i finally after a year and a fair few bullets got a .223rem and anouther .22semi auto there was no questions asked why i wanted anouther .22 just gave it me. a lot of forces differ on there rules and regs its all down to where ya live i got fac air on open where dougy in stafford wasnt allowed open on his fac air rifle...even tho its only a few miles up the road anouther thing is time it takes to process applications i have 2 mates at work who both put in for shottys 1 in derby 1 at stafford.the lad i derby had his gun within 6 weeks the lad at stafford is still waiting been told 4 months wait and they wernt jokeing its been that long now..
