magnetandsteel
Evening all, some help would be most appreciated. My bottle on my super 10 leaks when not connected to the gun. Is it a simple case of changing the seal on it and any idea how much it costs. Or is the bottle knackered and i need to invest in a new one. Thanks all for your time. chrispti
Is there enough air in the bottle? If there isnt then there wont be enough back pressure to fully close the seal. do you use a stirrup pump or diver bottle to re-fill?
magnetandsteel
I normally use a pump It seems like the seal in the top of the bottle isn't sitting properley as there was loads pf pressure left in the bottle when i took it off. I trie dcaharging it up with the pump to about 50 psi but still leaked
taffygun
Its probably the valve itself they aren't expensive, there's a small diaphragm inside the valve that wears and doesn't function as it should. You'll find its o.k if left on the gun but leaks off. The valves are about £15 if memory serves or you can send it back to BSA and they will service and test the bottle for about £30 with posting each way. :yp:

Admittedly a super10 may be much different - check the instructions as to correct operating pressure !!!!!!!!!!!!
magnetandsteel
No full pressure is 232 bar but i wasn't going to waste my time and effort pumping the damn thing right up only for it all to leak out
