mendevelium
Does anyone know how much clay pigeons cost? I am hoping to set up one of those little clay throwers in my garden; but I cannot find the actual price of clays anywhere! Many Thanks

Wookie
mendevelium, help is more often thatn not dependent on location. If you are having trouble finding stuff in Kent, it makes sense to get people from Kent to get you advice. By the way, lucky man for having both a big enough garden to hoot clays on and also for having understanding neighbours!

clayman
Shooting in a garden? You need 275m in front of where you shoot in your control. Allowing for swing arc, you'll be lucky to get away with less than 10 acres. If you have less than this, you will need neighbours' permission for your shot fallout on their land. If there are footpaths , bridle ways or anything like that around, they will effect the direction of fire. Your neighbours can complain and "close you down" if noise exceeds 65 dB in their gardens, so tell them before you shoot or you will get an EHO with a noise meter turning up if you ruin their garden party with your noise. edr
You could allways try the clay pigeon company based at bottesford, nottinghamshire. No price list's on the website but i'm sure they would tell you if you gave them a call.
