relivingmyyouth
Hi all, It looks as if I may have my first big permission and I need to get it right. From the point of view of a clean kill every time, what is better, the big impact of a hollowpoint or the penetration of a pointy point ? Thankyou all for your anticipated input
codling99
i would never use pointy pellets myself personally,i like hollow points myself, but a good quality domed pellet is perfect for hunting .
stuart92
rws super domes probly the hardest hitting pellets! pointed good freind uses them in his fac air rifle for heart shots as he collects skulls (freak lol) stuart

T0MMYT
Domed. biseley mags. one point though, on RWS super domes i have had bad experiences with them with about %50 of the pellets quite deformed out of the tin... 3 different tins from 3 different batches. think i was really unlucky as i have heard really good things about them. PUSC
i have had a few good kills with Napier Power Hunters. but ive got a hw57 and find that the machining quality isnt so good and pellets become warped easily but for £6.25 for 500 u cant rele go wrong. i also use bisley magnums but they are a dam sight stronger and seem to punch thru stuff rather than deforming and causing a shock to kill (more likely to blow a hole thru a rat or a squirrel if ur not careful)
Hardy
Domes here too - H&N FTT cos they are the most consistant of those I've tried.
relivingmyyouth
My Raider 10 likes The Weihrauch F+T Specials so I'll use those in that. The Weihrauch likes Dynamic SN2's so I'll stick with them. Some people like the AA Hunters and the RWS Superpoints. There is some support for RWS Hollowpoints and all my guns seem to like the new Crossman Premier Hollowpoints. I'll stick with domes and see what happens. Thankyou all
THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
I've used hollow point's & find them ok. When I first started I quickly found pointed were hopeless. Domes for me mostly with the odd hollow point or even close range flat head.
airssassin
Domed pellets seem to be best at almost everything (apart from close range ratting). Just get the pellets which are most acurate in your gun and resist the temptation to get those gimmicky pellets!
