ddanby111 Posted June 16, 2008 Report Share Posted June 16, 2008 im a chef and ive made a 5x batch of this... its georgous.. my family and neighbours love it 20 large heads of elderflowers.... these are white and grow from trees.. 1.5 kg of caster sugar the peel of 1 lemon then slice it and discard the ends 50g citric acid... from good chemists then stir in 1.2 liter of boiling water from the kettle.... cover with a teatowel and leave in a cupboard at room temp for 1 day pass through a fine sieve or a muslin cloth or a realy clean piece of linen store in a clean jar or freeze... you can leave it out at room temp for upto 3 months dilute 1 part cordial to 5 parts water Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
