Now, the issue is this, i dont know which fitting i need for the bottle. not sure which typ to order as i cant remeber which one fits the Raider. would really appreciate your help on this guys, as i want to be out next week with a new gun, and a leakfree bottle.

much love and thanks <_<

as i dont want to give you the wrong advice or have crossed wires regarding what you need i think it`s best to ask a gunshop? with the webley raider you will get a fill probe. the decant should have a micro bore hose/ flexi with a fitting on it. the fill probe should screw directly into it. as for din or a clamp it`s up to you but i think din is easier to work with and get filled. where are you getting your bottle from?

Din is FAR superior to A-Clamp.

We have used both for diving and have witnessed several blown o-rings with A-Clamp and none with Din.

I know that you won't need to trust your life to either when decanting (a blown o-ring at 50M isn't funny <_< ) but as the decanting whip that you buy to fill your gun comes in din or A-Clamp then if you chose the right one to start (one end matches your gun and the other will be either Din or A-Clamp) then you're less likely to have problems with it in the future.

The other thing to consider is the size of the tank (I would go for at least 12L) and the fill pressure (232 bar is cheaper but 300 bar gets you more fills in the gun before the pressure drops too low to be useful)

If where ever you will go to have the tank filled can only fill to 232 bar then there's no point in getting a 300 bar.

Finally .. If you get a tank off ebay (or anywhere else that you can't check the test date) then be prepared to get a tank that doesn't have much test date left (lots of divers I know bought a mail order tank only to find that they would have to send it in for a re-test in 12 months time .. or less!) It's a way that certain shops have of getting rid of tanks that they've had in stock for a while and the test date starts before they buy it (NOT when you do)

Hope this helps.
