What makes this ruling so historic, besides finally saying the right to keep and bear arms is an individual right, is it gives us the legal foothold we need to challenge other gun laws. casts_by_fly Posted June 29, 2008 Report Share Posted June 29, 2008 yep. Now if we could get a ruling that prohibits cities from making their own rules then we'd be in good shape. At the moment NYC doesn't recognize a CCP from New York state, Philadelphia doesn't allow the same laws as the rest of Pennsylvania, Chicago is a nightmare too.
