I was once desperate for a case lube as i had run out and forgotten to buy some more . Had a good look around the garage and indoors and decided on trying fairy liquid .I had used this in the past for lubing rubber bushes . I t worked very well and have used on several other occations . Harnser .

Big problem with using engine oil etc is the possibility of it getting on a primer, and that's going to be the primer when you take your one and only chance at that 12 pointer. lee case lube is actually wax, the type used in car factories for drawing door panels etc.
