Chard
Had my usual round at Worsley today. I was on fire for the first 12 stands and dropped 11 clays on the last 3 stands . Ended up with 74 Craig got 80 There was a thunderstorm directly overhead when I arrived, so we waited for it to clear, then the sun came out and it was blazing hot. Unfortunately, the Horse Flies came out too - millions of them, the size of pigeons. 18-wheelers with a taste for blood. I think that's why I dropped so many on the last 3 stands, I was weak from blood loss Not for the faint-hearted, Worsley isn't. The Essex Mafia wouldn't last long . They'd all go down with the squits just thinking about it. Edited July 5, 2008 by Chard

Chard
the only squit at worsely is there targets! half of them are so close you could catch them in a landing net That's the usual battle-cry when people can't hit them Heard that one about four times today It doesn't make them easy either. I saw Scott Greenfield come unstuck on some very close driven birds. He said they were unhittlable. Well, he didn't, he actually said ******* hell, what **** set this ******* course, it's a load of ******* *******, you can't hit these ******* targets Edited July 5, 2008 by Chard

When are some of you Essex boys?? going to come and show us how it's done. The usual cry about close targets from the visitors - the locals hit them, even the **** shots like me. D Chard is right - the horse flies are like ******* pigeons and were out in force!! Edited July 5, 2008 by Yellow Bear
