deadeye ive
Just my opinion Buddy and this topic as been done to death but this calibre is opportunistic when out rabbiting .A dedicated Fox control calibre is something that as a 1000 ft lbs + of energy at the muzzle . After all this is only sitting on a crimped down .22lr case.
deerhunter26
i dont use the hm2 as a dedicated fox rifle, and i understand that some mite think that useing a small caliber for foxes is wrong but i do disagree as to me its all down to the shot placement as you can wound an animal with any size caliber. and i didnt post this to start a debate about calibers just thought some might be interested, but i'l think before i post next time!! No need deerhunter .......you are just as much entitled to your opinion as I am to mine ,,,,,,,My opinion is based on that the hmr is close range only but as it's an open forum some think think that 100yds plus is an acceptable shot and that this can be a dedicated fox calibre . Al4x Hmr regardless of it's length of casing and fox as been done to death on all the forums I frequent which I admit was the case when I was alot more active than I am now ...As it been quite on this subject ?:yp:
