mack
Its very dissappointing when something is planned aint it. However, I myself am planning going out tonight around 11pm. There should still be bunnies about even in the rain and wind, and they wont hear you coming. The bag might not be huge but I dont mind that. It depends upon what your aim is really. webber
ck Im puzzled as to wether it is your intention to shoot the rabbits tonight, or effect death by drowning? A strong brew and slippers for me tonight. webber
ckbraider
cheers for the advice guys, looks like im still going then, dont mind the rain and wind spent most of my working life in it thanks to the bloody army
Fisherman Mike
If it stops raining get out there with the gun. I have always found that the Rabbits come out after a shower as long as its reasonably mild. They dont drink as such as they get moisture from the greens they eat but they do like the droplets on the young grass and clover shoots. In fact where I am it rained yesterday afternoon and stopped about 6 I went out between 6.30 and 8 and shot 7 bunnies with the Logun in the fields we own next to our office... There was plenty of the little devils about... You can have Webbers strong brew a little later with something added to it!!!!
ckbraider
right next to our shoot we have a nice little country pub, may spend some time in there and have a shandy or two ie lager and lemonade so my shooting is not affected, i love it when i aint driving!!!!!! Devilishdave
Rain is the best weather to shoot in it keeps the preys heads down and deadens any scent or sound that you create. Dont use this as an excuse to bumble around use it as an extra advantage. The gun wont disolve in the rain so give it a thick coat of oil b4 you go out and strip it wipe it dry and re oil it as soon as you get in Dave
