PUSC
just got back from a great but flipping boiling day at the cla. met up with the uk shootwarehouse stall and quoted pigeon watch to get my discount. was really happy with the friendly and helpful service i was given by the chaps at the stand and would highly reccommend them. bought myself my first bits of pigeon kit, a hide, poles, some of the new sock decoys and got a welly bag thrown in for free. Will Beasley
I wasnt there but apparently they sold EVERYTHING and were absoluteley mobbed alive. If anyone wants any gear this week you might have to be a little patient while we re-stock as we're pretty much out of everything now
Country Boy
I wasnt there but apparently they sold EVERYTHING and were absoluteley mobbed alive. I went yesterday and towards the end of the day I had a look see at the UKSW stand - lots of stuff still there - no bargans were evidant but I was a bit disappointed to see that many of the items for sale had an obvious chinese influence, as had most of the other pigeon product retailers! One glaringly fareast creation was a very compact light wyrley machine offered by decoyingdotco and also I think Leonardclarkeng - for £100.00 - has anybody on here thoroughly tested one yet? Boy........... you so sceptical......... do you know anything about manufacturing in the far east? Ours, decoying.co., and Leonardclark stuff is all made in the UK, trust me, I KNOW this...and you clearly dont. Pigeon decoying gear is such a small market that ANY of us retailers would have to purchase in silly quantities for the ****** to even take a sniff at taking on the deal... and thats just not feasable in such a small "niche market". And even still, why do you complain about Chinese stuff anyway. It goes without saying that 60% (maybe more) of the stuff you own from your telly to the watch on your wrist is made out there........ just cos its made in China/Taiwan/Korea/Thailand/wherever*********fareastsweatboxfactorycountry they still can produce better quality items than industries within our own coastline and at a fraction of the cost of getting the product made in the UK. Big deal. Thats how it is, not just over here but worldwide. And as far as your comment about the "obvious chinese influence" then you just made a big slur on our own UK industrial force as our stuff is made in the UK with the exception of the Stealth netting which is made in the far east. The Seeland Rotary machine is made in China and you can see that it's bloody obvious, however the rest of the gear is not, regardless of which retailer is selling it. OK? Guest stiv24
Amongst other things I bought the crow version of the hypa flaps. It was unfortunately supplied with the wing rod things for the hypa flaps which are way too short for the crows. This wasn't suprising as you had to fight your way into their stand and the sales guys were rushed off their feet Anyway, one quick phone call today and the correct bits are in the post. Well done UKShootWarehouse
