MJT
When i wanted to add an fac air rifle to my ticket they still made me get a letter from the land owner even thought my ticket holds bigger rifles and the ground is passed upto a 243. THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
Long range is good enough reason, safer round is another ? I know of several .22 & HMR owners.

bullet boy
Hi bignoel, did you want the 17HMR for mainly rabbits or foxes? If you wanted it specifically for fox then my advice for you would be go for a centrefire rifle instead(222,223,22-250).I used to have a 17HMR and i did shoot quite a few foxes with it but since i have had a centrefire rifle what a difference this makes when shooting foxes.I have now sold the 17HMR!ATB and good luck in whatever you choose mate.
