HaveToShoot
This is the first time out for live targets. Practised for a week on the paper in the back garden. I was really suprised because these were shot at about 20yrds. The wee mans got a feel for it. The corvid was a nice shot. We were set up on top of a silage pit and made a hide out of tyres. He made sure that everything was left like he had found it and thanked the farmer for the opportunity to shoot. The farmer said no problem and thanked him as they were fouling his tractor windows. A nice afternoon out. He came out pigeon shooting (decoying)and now wants a .410 and a German Shorthair Pointer. I told him we will have to gang up on Mom. Landy
Well done. We need to raise the young to have an understanding of field sports before the ‘other’ groups contaminate them and fill their heads with media rubbish.
Cranfield
Nice pictures and it is good to see your lad out getting the lessons in early. He will now have an interest that not only can he develop, but will stay with him all his life.

HaveToShoot
I have been taking him out with me when scouting and gaining permission. He is the "binocular" man. It seems when I have spoken to the landowners I am given a bit more credibility. He is very outgoing and throws in his 2 cents during the conversation. My sucess rate in gaining permission seems to have increased when hes along for the ride. Oh I ordered some shooting cards with my name on them from a link posted on here. He also wants a set of his own
