  10. The same question will have a different answer to the circumstance it relates and the personality of each individual. Take the fact this is a shooting forum ask the same question on a different say an anti site (can’t think of any at the moment) I think you might just get a different answer. Then there is the rules of engagement. The landowners view and expectations of your participation to roam over his land, your own view and ethics regarding your quarry. I could go on so but I an not going to I guess its down to the individual who pull the trigger, sets the snare or places the trap. Two words ethics and principles.
  11. Then I have one 16 year old pest. Does that count

I have the same rifle suggest Wildcat 12 baffle you can shorten it to 8 or get the T8. But the advantage of the wildcat is you can strip it for cleaning. No regrets but dont forget to ask for a thread protector for transportation or you will have to change your slip.
  13. Have a Miroku 7000 game M/C for 30 years, it was my first gun. Bought and sold several others in my time but never the Miroku and probably never will it is my old and faithfull and has never let me down. Can't recommend it more than that.
  14. Good to hear from you
  15. I can take it then he will be sadly missed ?
  16. Have a Drefender 90 TD5 which is as aerodynamic as a house brick so if I keep right foot light and steady I can get 30+ equally heavy footed I can knock it down to less than mid 20s.
  17. I would be interested depending when. Must admit to be quite interested in the ferreting as I have an interest in net making. Dave
  18. Thought I'll only need a three gun now have six. Also might be worth having a lockable pistol cabinet in the top which I find useful for securing concealing bit and bobs you don't want anyone to see (don't tell the Mrs this)
  19. There are worries about putting a gun cabinet in lofts and that is dependent on a few conditions. First is insulation, it can keep heat in and if not aired properly condensation which will cause sweating and moisture buildup. Tiles, certain man made tiles can also do the same. Timbers if damp will also sweat moisture into the loft cavity depending on condition (age) and if they have been treated. I could go on a little more but I think you are wise to test the humidity, but consider it a long term test as both internal and external conditions will change. Couple on things I might suggest though would be moisture absorbing crystals in the cabinet itself. Some conditions to your certificate is that is is raw bolted to an outside wall, Lincolnshire Police. When I moved to Cornwall they accepted the internal chimney wall in reclaimed loft space as acceptable.
  20. Done but I'm not optimistic
  21. Well done. We need to raise the young to have an understanding of field sports before the ‘other’ groups contaminate them and fill their heads with media rubbish.
