johnbaz
hey up all in my arsenal i have a couple of repeating pcp's, a career and a logun s16, both of them leak the career was leaking when i bought it (cheap), the exhaust valve seat had a 'ding' in it, the ptfe seal was ok, i put the valve body in my lathe chuck and skimmed it (there wasn't much to play with either!!), reassembled the rifle and all was fine for a few months, now it's leaking from the filler valve i suppose it could be my aluminium tank corroding inside and releasing the white oxide into the rifle cylinder but none of my single shot daystates or stealth have suffered the same probs the logun also was leaking when i bought it but i wasn't told about that one anyhow, has anyone else suffered problems with repeating (pcp) rifles// rgds, john
tweedledee
normally quite good. as you say it could simply be dust or grit holding the fill valve open. give it a quick blast of air to try and get it to re seat
drut
Careers aren't normally (the 3 i've had & my friend's 2) prone to valve leakage problems if you feed them clean air. Probe seals: pellet pusher & quick fill both seem to need regular change but nothing linked to multishot. Personally having worked through a selection of airguns I am now back to square one: single shot Daystate Midas as first choice: simple & accurate.
