Guys I have just been offered by a friend a Logun Gunlamp with 4 filters all in box with batteries etc etc hardly been used, I had a look at it but it was in daylight so didnt really see the lamp working to full effect, do any of you guys use one of these if so i would really appreciate some feedback on it, my only concern is that it looks really really small. oh but the way he wants £35 quid for it

For £35 including the the filters then it sounds like a good deal.

Its fairly compact and lightweight.

Ive found the filters hit and miss though, they block out too much light and reduce the lamps range. The lamp is underpowered in my opinion.

There are better lamping kits out there but i guess it does the job. You just have to make up for its reduced range with patience and good field craft.

I picked it up a few days ago and in all honesty i am impressed its as light as i wanted and to be honest its a breath of fresh air after using a mates deben mini tracer thingy!!! as soon as you switch that thing on everything with 200 meters says bye bye, see yah later dumb ***, so in all for what i want its absolutley perfect and to make things better he was skint and i got it for 28 quid i tried 25 but he werent that dull

The logun lamp is a great piece of kit for the serious bunny lamper with a 12ftlb Rifle or a .22 rim.

I have literally shot 100,s of bunnies using mine.

Dont forget that at the distance a 12ftlb rifle shoots efficiently the 10w output of the logun is more than adequate (even with the red filter fitted).

If you need a lamp for long range work 100m plus then obviously you need a bigger and more powerful lamp. The only drawback with this is that when you sweep the hunting area with 20,000 candle power everything in the field and the next two decides to take flight or you end up with burn marks on the grass or a helipcopter landing on your head!

The halfords lamp is a bicycle lamp and although it has the same output as the logun will only last for only a couple of hours on full power. That said there is nothing wrong with it.
