bout100 Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 basicaly im looking to get my first shotgun for clay shooting, i would like to get a, semi auto, 12g, with a synthetic stock, preferably around £400 in a lesson i used a webley & scott 820 which i liked but i dont have anything to compare it to, also, what gun shops are recommended in the south west, Somerset / dorset areas many thanks in advance. taz24 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Share Posted September 7, 2008 .. I use a Hatsan Escort and I love it. It is reliable and shoots well. It cost £200 and was only a couple of months old, still with warrenty. If I could afford a so called better gun I would struggle to find one that I like as much as this one. I think the Hatsan has a bad reputation with some people and perhps the older ones were not reliable, but mine is and it will even cycle 21g carts. taz .
