Macperc
I think it's just 40g, huge hollow point, very effective.
steve_b_wales
I have use the Winchester 40gr sub-sonic ammo for many years now. It's good stuff. Excellent for rabbits, crows etc
THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
40gr is common for most. Some of the HV's are around 36gr though.
garyb
Stick to the 40grn subs
THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
Stick to the 40grn subs Agree, tried quite a few (8) types of HV's & not convinced worth buying more.
Evilv
I have said on here a few times, my CZ groups nice and tight with eley subs. I think eleys are rebadged as something else as well, maybe Winchester - not sure, but its that or remington I think. I've played around with stingers which hit VERY hard to way out, but the grouping is well bigger. If it hits the bunny's front end though, its dead for sure and often all torn up too, whcih isn't such a good thing unless you are leaving them there as crow bait. JoKerr
If you want something heavier there are the 60gn subs from Aguila. They need a faster twist than the normal 22RF barrel, but if you have a 22 calibre conversion in a 223 or similar then the extra twist will sort them out. Stops a rabbit well. Alycidon
40 gr from Eley or Winchester will perform well at the business end, just pick which on eyour rifle shoots best. Lapua are another very nice round but very expensive, think they are either 38 or 40 gr. A
