PAULT
does any one on here use one of these scopes and what are they like in lowlight are these to much scope for a 223 and would you have an illuminated reticle Edited August 31, 2008 by PAULT
Mungler
I just got a 3-12 x 50 S&B Zenith with IR on the HMR, specifically for low level light long range bunnies. Can't fault it but the eye relief is not as clean as on the fixed 8x56 IR, but hey, you can't have it all for the money.
tulkyuk
Mate uses one on his 22-250 and it is the dogs dangley bits, excellent in low light and the illuminted ret. is ideal for when the light is fading and your looking at a dark object in a dark back ground (sometime your crosshairs fade out and your not clear on where centre is -)

A Sick Old Man
I know a few peeps who use them in there line of bussiness, they are a good bit of kit. But the illuminated reticule **** falls off sometimes, thats about the only problem they have. Exellent after service to boot

I have Mungs old S&B 8x 56, and can hit golf balls all day at 100 yds with the .223 Tikka and 40 grain Federals Note for Bob, I am working my way up to 200 but am still finding the right round!
