Jonno243
Guys, I have been shooting for a good few years now using factory loads. Recently I have found myself thinking more and more about "rolling my own". Being a very exact kind of bloke (!) I would like to build up a good solid foundation in the theory and terminology of reloading before having a crack at anything beyond me. I am looking for advice on where the best information can be got. Obviously I thought about the internet, but the wealth of info is bewildering, I am looking for a few books to set me going about things the right way. My step-father has all his reloading gear from his days of handgun shooting (pre-ban I hasten to add ) and has offered his assistance, which I will gladly accept, but I would like to read up some as well. Any pointers you could offer with regards decent material will be gratefully received. Thanks in advance, Jonno.

casts_by_fly
I have the speer reloading manual and it works just fine. Also plenty of load data for most any cartridge you'd want to reload for. thanks, rick
njc110381
I have Modern Reloading, by Richard Lee. That's a very good book to read although obviously he pushes his kit a bit! There's a lot of info in there about things I didn't even think about. Probably don't need to know half of it, but it's very interesting
Alycidon
A manual is good and every reloader needs at least one but you cant beat one to one instruction to learn how to do the job.
