Tarka
Decided to have a go on the stubble today. Has been cut for about a fornight now but still alot of birds getting on it so i thought i would go down for the afternoon because im getting fed up of asking people for permission to work my terrier to foxes on their ground. Got myself 100 cartridges this afternoon and was going to head out for about 1pm to set my hide up but it lashed down, thunder and all. At about 2pm it cleared so i set up a bodged up hide and set out a dozen pigeon decoys. When i arrived there must have been 300 pigeon and about 200 crow so i decided to add my measly 3 crow decoys to the patter just incase. Anyway, long story short the crows were coming in better than the pigeon and ended up with more crows and jackdaws than i did pigeon! I had 3 crows land in the pattern aswell! Final bag was 14 Pigeon 14 Jacks 12 Crows and 2 Rooks and picked all but a few up

Tarka
Cheers wasnt to worried about the pigeons not coming in because iv shot plenty before but never really had the chance to blast at the crows over decoys so it made a nice change
