If you're shooting in the field I would recommend changing the chokes to say, 1/4 & 1/2 before you go out and leave the other chokes at home.

 

That way, you won't lose them and it's one less gizmo to carry.

 

It's different when you're clay shooting, as a lot of folks like to change chokes on every stand to suit the targets, I carry mine in a rigid rectangular plastic case with a hinged lid, it fits neatly inside my Beretta ABS cartridge carrying case.
