Hello,

I joined this forum last night, came across it while looking on google for a Webley Falcon. I had one of these guns back in 1979/80 when I was about 20 years old. I bought a brand new Webley Hawk in the mid 1970's and then my uncle gave me his old Falcon with a bent barrel. It was brilliant, everyone who had a go with it couldn't hit anything. I always used to hit everything because I knew to aim a couple of inches to the left, I had a lot of fun with that old gun. Then I got married in 1981 and they had to go. But now I'm back into airguns and have a nice 174 foot back garden to use them in, a bit better than the 40 foot garden my parents had years ago. About 8 years ago I bought a BSA Cadet from a motorbike autojumble (I've got 3 BSA motorbikes so I thought the missus wouldn't mind me having a BSA gun just to look at) and last week I went to the local gunsmiths and bought a nearly new Webley Stingray 11 for £175. What a gun, I have to make sure my dogs are shut behind the gate at the top of the garden, I reckon it's more than capable of killing them. Now that I'm back into (allowed to have a few) airguns I'm keen to get hold of 2 particular guns. I want another Webley Falcon (so I can relive my earlier days, I dont want another Hawk, being left handed I never liked the cheekpad being on the wrong side) and the gun I've always wanted but could never afford in the old days is a Mk1 BSA Airsporter. Then life would be just perfect, surrounded by my motorbikes, my 3 gundogs (2 black Labs and a Sprocker Spaniel) and my guns.....and a pile of Gold Label barley wine cans to use as targets.

Brilliant !!

"Flying" Cyril.
