game_boy
I never feed my dog cooked bones because of that fact and in addition the cooked ones will not have as much goodness in them after being cooked. I'm a firm beliver of giving him raw meat or bones once in a while. Edited October 6, 2008 by game_boy
Miroku Mike
Only ever give my dog fresh bones from the butchers. Apparently the others do splinter, daren't take the chance meself. The dog loves them. Keeps his teeth dead clean, and they love it when you scoop out the marabone.

Imperfection
I never fed mine cooked bones.Raw ones are soft so wont splinter. Only downside is the bonemeal-it makes their poo go like chalk!
