monkeyjaimz
About seven months ago I made myself a ferret hutch after deciding to start doing a bit of ferreting as well as shooting: http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...9&hl=ferret Well with one thing or another (including buying a new house and moving in with the missus) happening i've only just got around to acquiring some this week. Got a couple of Jills from a good friend of mine, 6 months old from working parents and both doing really well so far. They love their new home and I can't wait to get out with them in the near future Also finally got around to making a carrying box today

Cranfield
That looks a nice set up and its good to see the ferts appear to handle well. When I first started ferreting we carried the ferrets in a "hemp" sand bag, inside of a plastic/nylon shopping bag (not a plastic bag as per Tesco). Then it was a metal ammo box, with sacking inside, the wooden boxes came later.
monkeyjaimz
Thanks for the replies guys, the box is fairly heavy but nice and sturdy I also added a hammock to the bottom floor of the hutch this morning, really glad I did as they love it
