Killer
I can only quote my personal experience with Cambridge constabulary,at the time I had just eight acres and they seem quite happy for me to have a.22 Rimfire.I should imagine where the land is situated will also plays apart. The cost for the FAC is£50,hope that helps.. Bleeh
also know jack about these guns so size and prices If this is true, I would go for some tuition before applying for your FAC, be it with an instructor, or a mate with a rifle. scout
I had just over 60 acres when Devon and Cornwall gave me a 22lr and 17HMR. Took about 10 weeks to come through after it was posted. Costs £50, same as your SGC , they come and do a home visit, check your safe etc. It can be in your existing safe, but you do need to have somewhere secure to keep your ammunition. Would suggest you put down 750 to keep and 500 to buy. If I can help at all give me a PM as I'm not a million miles away. cheers Scout Edited October 12, 2008 by scout

seisobs
On my FAC interview i was asked what experience I had with firearms, might be worthwhile in going out with someone who has a rimfire and also doing a little research.
