Hubertus
This a painting that i got for Christmas. It shows my dog i lost last spring. He was only a little bit older then one year. She was called Nora Weidelsburg and was a German Spaniel. In natural the painting it is white and black. On the picture looks the colour a little bit strange. Isnt it a nice present? I love it. In our Dogmen Group we lost this year a lot dogs. And also a lot have been badly injured. **** year! The mother of Nora has also been killed 4 weeks ago by a boar. reddeer 40
nice painting, loves it. Good working dogs, but is it not more safer to use smaller dogs for boar, jack russels & teckels is what we use most here. Loves the German hunting magazines ( Jäger, Wild und Hund & Die Pirsch)buy them in Luxemburg when I am hunting in the German part of Belgium. Hubertus
reddeer, i dont think that smaller dogs have a smaller risk. Mainly terrier have a very high risk (Deutsche Jagd Terrier more than PJRT in my opinion). ANother problem is the way we hunt. We dont have any beaters. We do it only with dogs which we release from the place we are standing in the drive. They have to hunt on their own and for that reason is the Deutsche Wachtelhund and Bracken (Tiroler, Deutsche,...) the best Dogs for that purpose. How was the season in your country? Many boars? We have less compared with the years before in the most areas we were for hunting. Best bag was 100 boar on two days (and some fallow, red and roe).
