Good Morning, contemplating going for another variation soon for a .17, pretty much made my mind up as regards the rifle. Scope is my only dilemma what should I go for, have been looking at a BSA Side focus 8-32x44 30mm MilDot, know very little about it perhaps someone might or another scope in that price bracket...........

Hi,

i personally would go for something less busy, if you know what i mean, and a bit better quality glass.

I guess they are around the £100 mark, i have just got myself a Luepold 3-9x40 V1 very good glass

a vast improvement in low light conditions they are about £200 though. What you may have problems with is

too much going on with the scope before you actually take the shot, resulting in a lost bunny. Also loosing

zero when changing mag from 8 - 32. Consider choice while out lamping as well.

hope ive not put you off your choice, but i may save you money in the long run.

Do you really need to zoom in x32 ? You'd probally be better off with something like a 3-12 0r 6-18 mate :look:

When my ticket comes through (Any Day Now) I will be looking for a CZ Silhouette in 17 with 6-18 scope

Need to save a bit of cash first mind  lol! But reckon I'll be fine, just need to get a decent job first  Looking for employment sucks
