amateur
What is the law on transporting your gun in its gun-bag with pellets in the magazine? Obviously it could be unsafe to have a pellet in the chamber and definitely if the gun were to be cocked, but must the magazine be empty? I would never leave a rifle loaded any where unless on my shoot.i do have my magazine's filled then load them into the rifle at the shoot. another tip would be to keep you mag's if filled in a seperate compartment of your bag a long with pellet's. amateur
The question arose because the Logun magazine is non-removable (without an allen key, that is), so it would need loading before the shoot, and indeed fully discharging at the end of the shoot if the gun is to be legal. The Rowan mag for my SMK slips in and out without tools "ametuer mate what did you think the reply would be?" I was seeking clarification of the law - I was aware that the gun should not be loaded, which I had taken as there not being a pellet up the spout, not necessarily that there should be no pellets in the magazine. Anyway I'm grateful for the clarification
