jweaver
have a look here and here and here Make them an offer! Good luck! Weber, yes. Mine come with an extra cap. Look here He is the one that accepted my offer. Go for him! Top man.. I never thought of looking at "Tactical Sport". I did find one pare in the end, listed as "Sporttac" (2 x t's) but thats it.. THanks for hte pointer.. Since the last one is willing to take offers, even if I am not lucky enought to get the price that you did, atleast I know I am going to get them cheaper than £85. All the best Jon Edit: Oh b*gger. I just checked his completed listings and can see that he has let them go for as little at 59.99.. So £70 is offering him TOO much!!! Damn.. I wish I had checked first.. Never mind.. For £70+shipping, they are a bargain (Assuming he accepts £70) Edited November 28, 2008 by jweaver
V8landy
Whats the difference between the 6s 6s and the 7s 7S
Jim145
The 7's are the newer style, same as mine. I've not used the 6's, but apparently they are not the best when its windy.
V8landy
the 6s look slimmer and less likley to get in the way of the stock

I thought I got a good price for £70. Oh well. Only a tenner. Still MUCH better than £159 (oh yes!) that some people try to sell them on ebay. Certainly better than £89 he was asking... PUSC
remember seeing in guns and tackle recently an advert saying £65 for em. (recent edition black front cover advertising nightvision)
jweaver
Looks like this supplier will not longer sell them at a bargain price There are many sales in his history for around £60, but my friend has been trying to get some for £60 and the seller simply replies with a counter offer every day. I have tried at £70 and he has counter offered £78, so it looks like you will have to be very lucky to get them for less than £70! jweaver
remember seeing in guns and tackle recently an advert saying £65 for em. (recent edition black front cover advertising nightvision) Got the PM.. Thanks for the tips, but I would really like to stick with the Peltor as I have heard nothing but good things about them. Has anyone treid to find the magazine which PUSC referred too.. I went to WHSmiths today and whilst they have about 20 gun oriented magazines, I couldn't find "Guns and Tackle".. I also looked at the fishing section and it wasn't their either.. There was a magazine called "Guns and AMMO" and that had a black cover and on it was a sight which looked like it was 'night vision', but that was an imported American magazine, so I don't think this is what he was referring too. Can anyone find the advert and post the details, or atleast point me in the direction of somewhere that I can get the magazine? Jon

jweaver
Just incase anyone else is trying to negotiate with the Ebay seller above (Camosupply), they have sent me this: "When we sold these for £60 it was equal to $120 US Dollars...now the same £60 is equal to $88 US Dollars. A big difference. After you factor the decline of the GBP against the US Dollar and factor in Peltors price increase and ebay selling fee increases we are losing money at £60. " Clearly its another victim of the credit crunch.. To be honest, I never realised how bad the currency rates were until I did my expenses for August the other day.. I had been in Dubai on Business and normally when I do my expenses I loose out by 5-10% because of the currency rates that our expenses system offers.. But this time I was 30% UP!. So a transaction which worked out at about £280 on my card, came in at £350 on the expenses system! When you conisder that I would normally be offered something like £260 for this kind of transaction, I was now being given £90 more than normal (£70 of which was clear profit). This is an indications of how bad things are and how quickly they have changed. So it looks like buying overseas is not ideal at the moment Anyway... Back on subject, they say that the cheapest they can do them for now is £75 (although I know they will go a bit lower than this, as my friend had a counter offer of £73.50), but I have now found (and bought them) here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=021 They cost me £72 with shipping... With all this penny pinching, it will be just my luck that I will get stung for duty, but its the risk you have to take Thanks all for your help.. Its greatly appreciated. Vegeta
Can someone answer a question for me on these Looking at pictures of them they look like they sit ON your ear, as opposed to you whole ear being inside. If you get what I mean So when these are on your head, is your ear inside or do they sit on your ear??? I have to buy a pair of active ones as my left ear is constantly ringing now
JohnGalway
If you mean the SportTac ones they cover the entire ear Veg.
Vegeta
If you mean the SportTac ones they cover the entire ear Veg. Thanks John, I have a pair of passive peltors but they are just not suitable for wildfowling or rough shooting. Cant hear a word being said to me. I would love a pair of SportTac ones but just wondering does the rubber ring sit on the ear or completely cover it. Sounds like the latter so I'd say Santa could be bringing me a pair of these
