keith_henson
Afternoon all, Ive been having an issue cleaning the breach mechanism on the remmy 1100 I have. Its nice and clean elsewhere, but I would like to be able to get right inside the thing. How do i remove the lug handle on the action so that the actual block then slides out allow access to the trigger mechanism? Ive tried everything! (except a hammer) Help Keith

Floating Chamber
Get a pair of long-nosed pliers ready; you are sure to dislodge the linkage! Careful if you put your fingers in the ejection port. Will slice through to the bone. Very sharp edges in there!
BlaserF3
How very true...I sliced my finger years ago wiping around the ejection port with a cloth wrapped around my finger. It's funny how you forget till someone reminds you.
neil smith
If you want a detailed maintenance & repair guide this is the best one I have found, My copy is old now but it will help you date your gun as well as guide you through many of the common repairs needed on these models. The book covers the M870 & the M1100/M11-87 guns http://www.gunbooks.com/rem.html
