Will soon be upgrading to a .22 calibre rifle was just wondering whether anyones has any advice for a newbie to .22 calibres. Or anyone thats selling one !! Ozzy Fudd Posted December 2, 2008 Report Share Posted December 2, 2008 oh oh oh ruger 10/22!!!!! you can have a proper target rifle or a mini assault rifle.... like this! seriousley tho, ive used a few types of .22 rifle and the 10/22 was the one i was most impressed with. admittedly straight out of the box its just an ok rifle, nothing special, but the thing i like most is the versatility. once you know what you want the rifle for you can get it set up exactly the way you want, new barrels, new mags, new stocks, new triggers, in fact its possible to build a ruger 10/22 without using any ruger made parts! sorry im probably biased towards them, but thats my 2 cents....
