pavman
the recent wet weather has been testing my kit and despite the hype and promise once again I have ended up getting cold and wet, My new Pro-Logic (breathable-waterproof) jacket is as wet outside as in, the cheeky **** even print a booklet to say how fantastic it is with fully taped seams etc, My snowbee chesties have sprung a leak in the croutch (why do chesties have a neoprene top and still have **** cheap boot so your feet get cold? My back up jacket a Deer Hunter makes you wet with sweat with even some modest moving about,,,,,,, ye gods all I want is to stay warm and dry like the labels say I know all about base layers and the wick effect etc but thats no use if the dam things leaks in anything other than a modest shower.......is it me? bunnybasher100
one of the best jackets i got is a swandri bush shirt no waterproof lining just dense woven wool, spent 3hours walking i wales in it and didn't leak, clay shooting it leaked were i held the gun over my arm, so a good jacket all round and to top it off it dosen't rip in brambles or blackthorn. CharlieT
This season I've replaced my old Barbour Endurance coat with a Musto Whisper. So far I can't fault it and it has not let in water despite being worn in some really foul weather.

steve_b_wales
I use a few jackets. One is the Deerhunter Advantage timber plus trousers. The other is the Jaki Jakt kit. Mine was trousers, jacket, boots and thermals etc. Both keep you dry inside and out.
