I tried accessing a site which I know 100% My IP address will not be allowed into, and it recognised me as being disallowed, even through this anonymouse page. Billy. Posted December 8, 2008 Report Share Posted December 8, 2008 If it's to do with accessing something from work because it's blocked, you're actually after a 'proxy avoidance' website. Hiding your IP will do about as much as being x directory. However if you didn't hide your IP, it would only be accurate enough to give an indication of what county you're in, that's it.
